Dead Man’s Bones Announce First Tour
Set to Feature a Local Choir and Talent Show
Ryan Gosling and Zach Shields aren't waiting until the clock strikes midnight on Halloween to unleash their Dead Man's Bones project on your neighborhood. Their Haunted Mansion-influenced band is jumping the gun and bringing a host of ghouls and goblins with them. On the pair's debut tour, scheduled for this October (of course), the actor/musician band will translate their debut LP's macabre doo-wop with the aide of local choral groups from the 12 respective cities they're hitting. Bones' self-titled debut (out October 6th on Anti-) was recorded with the Silverlake Conservatory Children's Choir but they can't bring all those kids on the road with them. They probably have school or something like that.
To make the dates even more home-grown, the opening act for the concerts will be an actual talent show(!), organized by the Gosling/Shields and featuring locals from each destination. This is going to be a sight to see.
