Set for a Fall 2009 release, Devendra Banhart's sixth full-length album is now complete. Banhart recorded the album with the help of Noah Georgeson (guitar, backing vocals), Greg Rogove (drums, backing vocals), Luckey Remington (bass, vocals) and Rodrigo Amarante (guitar, backing vocals). Co-produced with Paul Butler of The Bees (aka: Band of Bees here in the U.S.), the album was completed in a recording facility set up with Tape Op Magazine's John Baccigaluppi in a house in Bolinas, CA. The album will be released on a label other than Banhart's usual XL Recordings (which released 2005's Cripple Crow and 2007's Smokey Rolls Down Thunder Canyon) as Banhart has parted ways with the label. www.devendrabanhart.com
