Nov 04, 2015 DIIV
This morning a new song by DIIV, the shoegazey “Bent (Roi’s Song),” showed up on Spotify. When we posted it we wondered if the details of their album would be announced soon and sure enough they were. The somewhat awkwardly titled Is the Is Are is now due out February 5, 2016 via Captured Tracks. Below is the tracklist and above is the cover art. “Bent (Roi’s Song)” has now also been posted to Soundcloud and you can check it out below. The album includes a guest appearance from Sky Ferreira.
Back in April DIIV announced that Is the Is Are, their second album, would be coming out this fall. But then it was radio silence until September, when the band shared the brand new song, “Dopamine.” As fall ticked on it did seem like a 2016 release was looking more likely.
Check out “Bent (Roi’s Song)” again below, followed by the album’s tracklist and some upcoming tour dates.
