Dirty Projectors Release Free “Ascending Melody” Single

In the fall of last year, Dirty Projectors planned to put out a four-track, U.K.-only EP featuring two new cuts from the amazing Bitte Orca sessions. Actually, Domino never released the EP and today is the first time non-illegal downloaders can hear these fairly new tracks without fear of legal recourse.

According to a MySpace post, 20 people who download the "Ascending Melody" 7-inch will get an actual vinyl copy of the single, which is supported by "Emblem of the World" on the flip. The vinyl version is also available to purchase from Domino. Sign up for the free download via the handy widget embedded below.

The band is planning a tour of Australia and New Zealand too. They'll hit a few concert halls in New York and L.A. before head Down Under. Check out the itenary after the widget:
