
Domino to Release Zine/Flexi Disc Featuring Dirty Projectors, Real Estate, John Maus, Cass McCombs
Record Store Day Release Called "Smuggler's Way"
Domino and Ribbon Music have announced have announced a very unsusual but no less amazing Record Store Day exclusive called "Smuggler's Way," a literary and art zine created by bands on both labels. The 24-page work will be accompanied by a flexi disc recording with songs by Real Estate, Dirty Projectors, Cass McCombs, John Maus and Villagers. The zine itself will feature original art and prose by Real Estate's Alex Bleeker, Laura Marling, Clinic's Ade Blackburn, Wild Beasts' Tom Fleming, The Kills' Alison Mosshart, Twin Sister's Adnrea Estella, and others. It even includes an original arranged score of music by Owen Pallett. You can get an early listen of the included audio track with a previously unreleased Real Estate track called "In My Car."
