
Eleanor Friedberger Announces New 2016 Tour Dates

Eleanor Friedberger of The Fiery Furnaces is releasing her new solo album, New View, on January 22, 2016 via Frenchkiss. Now she has announced a bunch of U.S. tour dates to go down next February and March. They include a stop at SXSW and are below.
New View is Friedberger's first album for Frenchkiss. Below you can once again listen to its previously shared first single, "He Didn't Mention His Mother," and watch a trailer for the album.
A press release says that New View is inspired by some of Friedberger's musical heroes, including Van Morrison, Neil Young, George Harrison, Slapp Happy, Yoko Ono, and Elyse. Friedberger's last full-length was 2013's Personal Record.
