Elliott Smith’s Car is Up For Sale In Austin
The 1999 Passat for $4000 is Listed on Craigslist with All Proceeds Going to Benefit Local Musicians

According to this Pitchfork news item, it appears as though a car once belonging to late singer/songwriter Elliott Smith is up for sale. The 1999 VW Passat GLX was listed-with perks and flaws outlined in detail-on the Austin area Cragislist auto page and is being offered at $4000 with all of the proceeds going to the SIMS Foundation. SIMS is an Austin-based organization which helps to provide local musicians with access to mental health and addiction recovery. Smith's sister is the one selling the car.
"It was my brother's, who was a musician himself. He's no longer with us, and I think he'd be happy to know that the sale of his car will help other musicians in need. It looks and runs great, and is fun to drive, but it does have a few flaws that I'll detail below," reads the Craigslist post. The post later says, "This car means the world to me, and has a very interesting story to tell. Music buffs might get a kick out of knowing who used to own their 'new' car."

Nice article.It appears as though a car limo miami once belonging to late singer Smith is up for sale.It looks and runs great, and is fun to drive.

Smith car listings from across the US makes it easy to compare models and prices, view specs, or learn more about all used cars. Smith’s sister is the one selling the car.

Elliot Smith. I didn’t like his music at first, but years later when I listened again I loved it. I think he needs a few songs before he can be appreciated. In a wheelchair since a paralyzing car accident at age 18 and physically capable of only simple note structures
