Leslie Feist is releasing a new album, Pleasure, on April 28 via Interscope. Previously she had shared the album’s title track. Now here’s another song from the album, “Century,” which features the guest vocals of Pulp frontman (and solo artist) Jarvis Cocker. His unmistakable voice comes in towards the end of the garage-y song in a mainly spoken word part breaking down the math of what’s in a century. Feist has also announced some tour dates. Check out the song and dates below.
It’s been six long years since Feist’s last album, 2011’s Metals. Feist co-produced the album with Mocky and Renaud Latang. Feist is also expected to be singing on the new Broken Social Scene album, due out sometime this year.
Cocker recently teamed up with Chilly Gonzales for a new collaborative concept album, Room 29. The album is inspired by room 29 in the iconic Hollywood hotel Château Marmont, which has had many famous guests (the hotel opened in 1929).
