Swedish sister folk duo First Aid Kit recently shared a brand new song, "It's a Shame," which is out now via Columbia. Now they have shared a video for the song. Mats Udd directed the video, which a press release compares to the Gwyneth Paltrow romantic comedy from 1998, Sliding Doors. In a split screen you see the band's sisters Klara and Johanna Söderberg go through similar, but different nightly strolls in Stockholm. Johanna's journey is sunnier and more upbeat, where as Klara's is sadder. The band have also announced some new 2018 North American tour dates. Watch the video and check out the tour dates below.

First Aid Kit offers the following statement about the video in a press release: "We proudly present the video for 'It's a Shame,' directed by our dear friend and longtime collaborator Mats Udd. Inspired by Sliding Doors and musicals, watch it to see what happens to us during a nightly walk. We hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it!"

Tucker Martine (My Morning Jacket, Laura Veirs) produced the song, which was recorded in early 2017 in Portland, OR. There's no word on whether or not there's a new album on the way, which would be the follow-up to 2014's acclaimed Stay Gold.

First Aid Kit previously issued this statement about the song: "We went to Los Angeles last spring and spent five weeks there writing. It was a tough time for the both of us. We were in this beautiful sunny place, but mostly felt sad and lonely. 'It's a Shame' is a song about the emptiness and desperation you feel after a relationship has come to an end. How you will go to great lengths just to numb the pain and feel less lonely."

Back in March First Aid Kit shared another new song, "You Are the Problem Here," in honor of International Women's Day.
