Sep 16, 2014 The Shins
Before making a name for himself as the de facto leader/mastermind behind The Shins, James Mercer was the frontman of another band called Flake Music. Releasing several singles starting in 1992, the group’s delivered their only full-length When You Land Here, It’s Time To Return in 1997 shortly before breaking up. Taking a look back, Mercer’s Aural Apothecary label and Sub Pop have announced a reissue of the album, featuring a remix and remastering of the LP’s eleven tracks and a reinterpretation of the record’s artwork. The album is due out Nov. 25. Scroll down below to view the tracklist.
