Foals
Foals previously announced their new album, What Went Down. It’s now almost upon us and due out a week from Friday, on August 28 via Warner Music. Now the British band has shared the 11-minute long What Went Down: Album Sampler video that includes snippets of every song on the album backed by either previously shared music video footage or images of the band performing the songs. It’s all styled to look like an old videotape and you can also skip back and forth between songs with buttons on the video. Check it out below.
Previously Foals already shared the album’s title track via its video, the audio for “Mountain At My Gates,” as well as its Spherical virtual reality video, a remix of “What Went Down” by The Haxan Cloak, the lyric video for the near-7-minute-long “A Knife in the Ocean,” and a trailer for Crème Anglaise, which is an album making of documentary that will be included in deluxe editions of What Went Down. Foals also recently covered “Daffodils,” a song from Mark Ronson‘s hit fourth album, Uptown Special (the original also features Kevin Parker from Tame Impala on vocals).
Check out the Album Sampler video below. Also be sure to pick up Under the Radar’s current print issue to read our interview with Foals about What Went Down.
