Free Press Summer Fest in Houston: Featuring Broken Social Scene, Of Montreal, Explosions in the Sky
Proceeds From 2-Day August Event to Benefit Project Row Houses
Summertime and festivals go hand-in-hand. So, if you happen to be in Houston Texas on August 8th & 9th, why not check out The Free Press Summer Fest? Featuring Under the Radar favorites Broken Social Scene, Of Montreal, and Explosions in the Sky, along with a bevy of up-and-comers, this might just be one of those shows worth braving the heat for.
Tickets for the two-festival start at the devastatingly low price of $16 for the two days. Better still: a portion of ticket prices go to benefit Project Row Houses—a community non-profit organization dedicated to the restoration, art and social activism of Houston’s historic Third Ward.
Good tunes and a good cause? Now that’s something we can appreciate.
