Gaz Coombes (Ex-Supergrass) Shares Video for “Matador (Da Capo)” - New Version of Song
Matador (Da Capo) EP Out September 18
Former Supergrass frontman Gaz Coombes released a solo album, Matador, back in January. Now he has shared a reworked and extended version of the album's title track, now titled "Matador (Da Capo)," via its video. Coombes and his bass player Garo Nahoulakian directed the video, which is shot in the first person to give a taste of Coombes' life. It was filmed the weekend he played gigs in both London's Hyde Park and the Glastonbury Festival, traveling between both via helicopter. The camera was hidden in his hat. Watch the clip below.
"Matador (Da Capo)" is also being released as part of a 12-inch EP of the same name on September 18. It features a demo version of the song, an instrumental B-side, and two live tracks. The tracklist is below, along with his tour dates.
