Listen to "74 Is The New 24"
Nov 17, 2014 Giorgio Moroder
Given a modern career resurgence after collaborating with Daft Punk on their album Random Access Memories, disco legend Giorgio Moroder has announced his first album in 30 years. Scheduled for release sometime in 2015, the LP boasts a number of guest contributors from Charli XCX, Britney Spears, Sia, Kylie Minogue, Mikky Ekko, Foxes, Matthew Koma, and others. Moroder has also shared a video for the album’s included track “74 Is the New 24.” You can watch it over at the The Creators Project or listen to it via Spotify below.
“Dance music doesn’t care where you live,” Moroder says in a press release. “It doesn’t care who your friends are. It doesn’t care how much money you make. It doesn’t care if your [sic] 74 or if you are 24 because… 74 is the new 24!”
