Hot Chip Website Spoofs The Drudge Report and BBC, Streams “Why Make Sense?”
Seemingly Timed to Today's U.K. Election
May 07, 2015
Hot Chip
Hot Chip are releasing a new album, Why Make Sense?, via Domino on May 19. They are now streaming the album’s title track on their website, www.whymakesen.se/chip. In the U.S. the site has been altered so that it appears to be a spoof of the conservative news site The Drudge Report. But visitors in the U.K. get a mock version of the BBC News site. This is all perhaps timed to the U.K. election today, which is said to be a very close one. Stream “Why Make Sense?” here.
