Hot Chip founding member Joe Goddard is releasing a solo album, Electric Lines, on April 21 on his own Greco-Roman label, via Domino. Goddard released a great solo single, "Lose Your Love," and an accompanying video back in December and then in January he announced the album and shared a video for another new song, "Music Is the Answer." Now he has shared a video for another song from the album, "Home." Frequent Super Furry Animals collaborator and artist Pete Fowler directed the video, which starts as an early morning post-club cab ride through London, but turns into a trippy animated dance party. The deep house song features vocals from Michigan-born singer Daniel Wilson. Watch the video below.
Goddard had this to say about the video in a press release: "I got to work on it with my friend, and amazing artist, Pete Fowler. I first met Pete DJing at a psychedelic rave in Stoke Newington called 'Mentasm' playing 'The Four Horsemen' by Aphrodite's Child and 'Cherry Red' by The Groundhogs about 14 years ago."
