Hundred Waters have shared a new song, "Particle." It's the first taste of their third album, which a press release says the band is finishing up with an eye to release it "in late 2017." The band, who formed in Gainesville, Florida in 2011, released their sophomore album, The Moon Rang Like a Bell, in 2014. "Particle" is available as a free download from the band's website or you can stream it below. Also below is the cover art.
A press release describes "Particle" as such: "It's a deeply personal song that reflects a period of profound change within the band wherein the relationships of the members have shifted into unfamiliar territory, reflected in the song's rapidly morphing textures."
This Sunday, May 14, Hundred Waters will perform some of their new material at Arizona's FORM Arcosanti festival, an event they founded and curate. Other performers this year include Father John Misty, James Blake, Future Islands, Solange, and others.
