Working at breakneck pace ever since their hit “I Love It” started making serious headway on the charts, Icona Pop have been literally forced to hit the pause button on doctor’s orders, forcing the dance pop duo to postpone a number of west coast performances. Due to Aino Jawo falling ill, shows at Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Vancouver have been put on hold.

“We cannot tell you how sad we are and how much these shows meant to us.” says Caroline Hjelt in a statement. “Our fans are so important to us and we live to perform on stage for you each night. We promise we’ll be back and will see you soon! In the meantime, please send lots of love and good energy Aino’s way!”

The missed shows will be rescheduled for a later date. Icona Pop’s full-length debut This Is…Iconan Pop is due out Sept. 24.
