Season 2 Comes to Netflix March 18

Netflix has shared the first full on trailer for season 2 of their acclaimed Marvel superhero show Daredevil. It indicates that season 2 will primarily be a battle between blind vigilante/lawyer Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil (Charlie Cox), and much more brutal vigilante Frank Castle, aka The Punisher (Jon Bernthal, best known for playing Shane Walsh in the first two seasons of The Walking Dead). This follows last month’s teaser trailer that mainly featured footage from season 1 and didn’t reveal much. This is only part 1 of the trailer, part 2 will be released February 25. All 13 episodes of season 2 will be streaming as of March 18.
Daredevil was the first of Marvel’s planned four shows to stream on Netflix and was a roaring success with both comic book fans and critics. It’s been followed by Jessica Jones, which was perhaps even better received by critics. Also returning are Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Scott Glenn as Stick and Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple. For season 2 they are also joined by Elodie Yung as Elektra Natchios.
