It’s Thor vs. Hulk, Plus Cate Blanchett, in Led Zeppelin Soundtracked Trailer for “Thor: Ragnarok”
From Taika Waititi, the Director of What We Do in the Shadows, and Due Out November 3

The first teaser trailer for the third Thor film, Thor: Ragnarok, has debuted. Chris Hemsworth’s Norse god returns. This time his iconic hammer is taken away by the villain Hela (an almost unrecognizable Cate Blanchett, looking badass). Thor is then taken to a gladiator arena (run by Jeff Goldblum’s Grandmaster) on an alien planet, where he must face off against his fellow Avenger, The Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo, when he’s in human form), who Thor calls “a friend from work.” New Zealand’s Taika Waititi, who made 2014’s hilarious vampire mockumentary What We Do in the Shadows and 2016’s Hunt For the Wilderpeople, makes his big budget debut with Thor: Ragnarok. The film also stars Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Anthony Hopkins, Karl Urban, and Tessa Thompson and is due out in the U.S. on November 3 via Marvel/Disney. The trailer is cut to the Led Zeppelin classic “Immigrant Son.” Check it out below.
