Jack White To Score “The Lone Ranger” Feature Film

The Associated Press reports that Jack White has been tapped to produce an original score for director Gore Verbinski’s upcoming film adaptation of The Lone Ranger. Starring Johnny Depp as Tonto and Armie Hammer as John Reid, the film is scheduled to see release on May 31, 2013. The last time White contributed to a film project was when he and Alicia Keys collaborated on the opening theme for the James Bond film Quantum of Solace.
