James Murphy To Direct Short Film

While he may be finished with his most beloved musical project, LCD Soundsystem‘s James Murphy is wasting little time to fill his days with his next artistic endeavor. As it turns out Murphy will soon be stepping into the role of director, teaming up with Ron Howard and Canon’s Project Imagination to oversee his own short film. Involving such other name individuals as Jamie Foxx, Eva Longoria, Twitter co-founder Biz Stone, and designer Georgina Chapman, the project involves the creation of narrative story based on photos submitted by fans. Murphy’s film is scheduled to go into production early next year.
