Japanese Breakfast (aka Michelle Zauner) released her sophomore album, Soft Sounds From Another Planet, last July via Dead Oceans (it was one of our Top 100 Albums of 2017). Now she has covered The Cranberries' "Dreams" in a session for Spotify. It's a fairly faithful cover. She also performed Soft Sounds track "Road Head." Listen to the session below.

Dolores O'Riordan, frontwoman for 1990s Irish alt-rock band The Cranberries, unexpectedly died in London in January. The remaining members are working on a final album featuring material they worked on with O'Riordan before she died and they hope to release it early next year. They are also prepping a reissue of their 1993 debut album, Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?, which they also worked on with O'Riordan.
