Yo La Tengo released There’s a Riot Going On last month via Matador. When the album was announced they shared four new songs from it: “You Are Here,” “Shades of Blue,” “She May, She Might,” and “Out of the Pool.” Then they shared another song from it, “For You Too.” The album is the follow-up to 2015’s mainly covers album, Stuff Like That There. Last fall they announced some European tour dates and hinted that new music was on the way. The album title is indeed a nod to the Sly and the Family Stone album of the same name from 1971.
