For fans reduced to staring at shiny objects and twiddling their thumbs waiting for info on the rumored album Sigur Rós may be releasing this year: Jónsi is set to score Cameron Crowe’s next movie.
While the soundtrack to We Bought a Zoo yielded mixed results, and the movie was a far cry from box office gold, Crowe reports he’s looking forward to working with the Icelandic musician. The filmmaker confirmed to Indie Wire the two will be collaborating on a currently-untitled comedy.
Revisit the sweet animated video to the pair’s co-written song “Gathering Stories” here.
