Julian Casablancas’ Band The Voidz Share Video for New Song “All Wordz Are Made Up”

The Voidz (the project led by the frontman of The Strokes, formerly known as Julian Casablancas and the Voidz) are releasing their new album, Virtue, on March 30 via Cult Records/RCA. Now they have shared another song from the album, “All Wordz Are Made Up,” via a colorful and chaotic video directed by the band’s guitarist, who just goes by name Beardo. You have to give Casablancas this much, the danceable “All Wordz Are Made Up” sounds very little like The Strokes. Listen below.
Previously The Voidz shared the album’s first single, “Leave It In My Dreams,” as well as a video for the strange Auto-Tune heavy “QYURRYUS” (which features the repeated lyric “I lost my spine”). They also stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform “Leave It In My Dreams” and shared another song from the album, the slow burning “Pointlessness.”
Casablancas’ Strokes bandmate, guitarist Albert Hammond Jr., is also releasing a new solo album, Francis Trouble, on March 9 via Red Bull Records.
