Justin Timberlake is releasing a new album, Man of the Woods, on February 2. Now he has shared another song from it, “Say Something,” which features the vocals of Chris Stapleton. More noteworthy is the video for the song, which was produced by La Blogothèque and directed by Arturo Perez Jr. It appears to have been shot in one take, as Timberlake and Stapleton perform the song live in the historic Bradbury Building in downtown Los Angeles. The location was featured in the climax of the original Blade Runner, as well as being used in multiple other films and TV shows. The video features 17 musicians and a 60-person choir, as the single camera follows Timberlake and Stapleton around the building, even as they sing while taking separate elevators. It’s all quite a feat. Watch the video below, followed by the audio for the studio version of the song.
Previously Timberlake shared the album’s first single, “Filthy,” via a video directed by Mark Romanek that featured a dancing robot. Then he shared a video for another song from the record, “Supplies,” which referenced The Walking Dead, and briefly featured Pharrell.
