Jun 25, 2014 Karen O
We all knew it had to happen, right? Yeah Yeah Yeahs Karen O has announced her solo debut. The album is called Crush Songs, and is due out September 9 on Cult—the label ran by none other than Julian Casablancas.
“When I was 27, I crushed a lot. I wasn’t sure I’d ever fall in love again,” she says via press release. “These songs were written and recorded in private around this time. They were the soundtrack to what was an ever continuing love crusade. I hope they keep you company on yours.”
