It’s been five long years since Larry David has graced our screens as Larry David (well, a somewhat fictional version of him anyway), but the door to future seasons of Curb Your Enthusiasm was always left ajar. Well, we’ve got some pretty, pretty good news for Curb fans: David and HBO have announced that season 9 is finally on the way. No airdate has been announced yet, so who knows if we’re talking 2016 or 2017. No word either on which other cast members will return. Jeff Garlin has been busy playing the dad on The Goldbergs, but has previously expressed his willingness to return to Curb Your Enthusiasm. David had this to say about the new season: “In the immortal words of Julius Caesar, ‘I left, I did nothing, I returned.’”
