Liars “Scissor” Video
Getting Stranded at Sea Never Sounded so Good
Feb 18, 2010
Liars
Wired and Liars’ official site are hosting the video for “Scissor,” the lead single from their fifth LP Sisterworld, due March 8th on Mute. The post-punk cut has some crashing guitar riffs and haunting choral drones that harken back to the band’s 2007 self-titled LP. The simple clip sees vocalist, Angus Andrew, chucking rocks out of two lifeboats. That’s about it for its 4:48-minute runtime. It’s not a particularly arresting set of images, but hey, the song still rips in that monsterous way. Liars will tour the U.S. in the spring.
