Animal Collective are releasing a new EP, The Painters EP, tomorrow. Previously they shared the EP’s opening track, “Kinda Bonkers.” Now here’s their studio cover of Martha & the Vandellas’ “Jimmy Mack” (which was a Top 10 hit in 1967 and which Animal Collective have been playing live of late). The EP also includes three tracks recorded during the sessions for their last album, 2016’s Painting With. Check out the “Jimmy Mack” cover below, followed by the original version of the song and the band’s upcoming tour dates.
