Baltimore duo Beach House (Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally) are sharing tracks from their forthcoming new album the old fashioned way, via the radio. Back in May the band announced Depression Cherry, their fifth album and the follow-up to 2012's Bloom. But no new songs were shared at the time. Today Depression Cherry track "Sparks" was played on the Spanish radio station RTVE. The song is scheduled to have its official premiere tonight on SiriusXM, accompanied by an interview with the band, but RTVE jumped the gun and played it early. You can listen via the player below, just skip ahead to around the 30-minute mark.

Depression Cherry is due out August 28 via Sub Pop in North America (Bella Union in Europe and Mistletone in Australia/New Zealand). The album was produced by Chris Coady and the band and recorded at Studio in the Country in Bogalusa, Louisiana. Beach House will also be embarking on a world tour in support of the album starting August 18 and those dates are below.

Update: The song is now up on Beach House's Soundcloud. So now listen to that stream below.
