The Magic Due Out June 24 via Polyvinyl
Jun 06, 2016
Deerhoof
Deerhoof are releasing a new album, The Magic, on June 24 via Polyvinyl. Now the band has shared another song from it, “Acceptance Speech.” Listen below via The Line of Best Fit (who premiered it), followed by the band’s upcoming tour dates.
Drummer Greg Saunier commented on the new album to The Line of Best Fit: “Maybe it came from the music we liked when we were kids, when music was like magic before we knew about the industry and before there were rules. Sometimes hair metal is the right choice. We all showed up in the mood to sing.”
