Depeche Mode are releasing a new album, Spirit, on March 17 via Columbia. The album was announced back in October and yesterday more album details were revealed along with the promise that the first single, "Where's the Revolution," would premiere this Friday. Well, I guess it's already Friday somewhere in the world, because the band have now shared "Where's the Revolution" a little early. "Where's the revolution/Come on people you're letting me down," frontman Dave Gahan sings in the timely chorus. Listen to it below. The band has also revealed the album's tracklist, which is also below.

Simian Mobile Disco's James Ford produced Spirit. Gahan had this to say about the album in a press release: "We are exceptionally proud of Spirit, and we look forward to sharing it with everyone. With James Ford and the rest of the production team, we've made an album that I believe is truly powerful, both in its sound and its message."

Spirit is the follow-up to 2013's Delta Machine. "The Global Spirit Tour" is a European stadium tour this summer, with North and South American tour dates promised for later in 2017. In partnership with the Swiss watchmaker Hublot, on the tour Depeche Mode will be raising money and awareness for Charity: Water, whose mission is to provide safe drinking water to everyone in the world.
