Aug 04, 2015 Mac DeMarco
Mac DeMarco‘s new eight-song mini-album, Another One, is finally out this Friday via Captured Tracks. But now we have a non-Another One track from DeMarco, a cover of the 1996 song “Change the World,” best known for the version recorded by Eric Clapton and featured on the soundtrack to the John Travolta film Phenomenon. Clapton’s version went on to win Grammy Awards for Song of the Year and Record of the Year. DeMarco’s version was recorded for The Editorial Magazine’s first cassette tape release, Editorial & Friends 001, which can be preordered here. It also features tracks from Blood Orange, Blue Hawaii, Doldrums, Juan Wauters, Mozart’s Sister, TOPS, Weyers Blood, and others. Check out the cover below, followed by Clapton’s original.
