Listen: New Pulp Song Produced By LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy
No Really, “After You”
Okay, so maybe Jarvis Cocker was lying when he said that Pulp’s reunion wouldn’t result in any new music. Or maybe he was just in the giving spirit. At a recent homecoming show in Sheffield, England, fans were given a Christmas card that featured a unique access code to a new song called “After You.”
Then again, perhaps Cocker was telling the truth. “After You” is actually a tune written a decade ago, and only to be recorded in November and finished up by LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy—who joined Pulp for a tour of duty on the S.S. Coachella. Take a listen to the glitzy dance song below.
