After making them such an integral part in the storytelling of his 2004 directorial debut Garden State, it would also be unthinkable to imagine Zach Braff not utilizing music of The Shins in some in his long-awaited follow-up Wish I Was Here. After using the band’s Port of Morrow single “A Simple Song” in the movie’s first teaser, Braff has premiered a brand new song by The Shins in the film’s full-length trailer. The song will presumably be featured on the motion picture’s soundtrack, which is also set to include songs by Coldplay, The Postal Service, and Cat Power among others.
