Last month previously unknown artist Ryn Weaver made quite a first impression with her debut track “OctaHate.” Executive produced by Passion Pit‘s Michael Angelakos and Benny Blanco, with additional writing and production contributions from Charli XCX and Cashmere Cat, the single has since garnered over a million listens on Soundcloud in an incredibly short amount of time. This morning Weaver has graciously provided a follow-up to the hit song with “Promises,” another cut featured on her looming debut EP, to be released on Blanco’s newly formed imprint Friends Keep Secrets.
