Listen: Sondre Lerche – “Palindromes”
A Cut From New Film “The Sleepwalker”
Sondre Lerche is one of the nicest guys in music (that we’re aware of anyway). So color us surprised when his newest offering “Palindromes” (a cut from the forthcoming film The Sleepwalker) hit a far more creepy vein than we’ve come to expect from the Norwegian troubadour. The John Cale-style track is one of many from the movie, which is soundtracked by Lerche and Kato Ådland. The film will make its debut at Sundance this year, but you can preorder the soundtrack via Lerche’s official site now. Or, if you’re in the mood for something a bit more upbeat, take a listen to Lerche’s cover of Miley Cyrus’s hit “Wrecking Ball” here.
