For the past 18 months Kevin Parker and his band Tame Impala have been on the road supporting their latest album Lonerism. Recently wrapping the final leg of their 2013 tour with The Flaming Lips, the Aussie psych-rockers has decided to leave fans with a parting gift, a rework of “Be Above It” by influential London producer, DJ and label head Erol Alkan. Made available as a white-sleeved, one-sided 12’’ limited to just 1500 copies worldwide, track will also be available digitally on Dec. 6 (AUS), Dec. 10 (UK), Dec. 11 (US).
