The Blow are releasing a new album, Brand New Abyss, on September 22. It's a self-released affair, funded by Pledge Music (head over there if you want a Blow beach towel set, among other premiums). It includes the previously shared songs "Get Up" and "Think About Me," and now they have shared another track from the album, an off-kilter cover of Whitney Houston's 1985 classic "Greatest Love of All." The Blow's version sounds nothing like the original, but really the most interesting covers are the ones that put their own spin on things, otherwise what's the point? But is it as good as Randy Watson and Sexual Chocolate's version? Listen to all three versions below, followed by The Blow's upcoming tour dates, including some co-headlining dates with EMA.
