Titus Andronicus
Last night Titus Andronicus frontman Patrick Stickles made a special appearance on New Jersey’s WFMU program “The Best Show” to support his home state station’s ongoing fundraising marathon. During the broadcast Stickles premiered the first new bit of new material from his band since the release of their 2010 album The Monitor. The new track, titled “Upon Viewing Oregon’s Landscape With the Flood of Detritus” can be heard at 2:37:00 mark below, and is expected to be released a split single with Tennessee group Diarrhea Planet. At the 2:24:00 mark you can also listen to Stickles perform a stripped-down rendition of a solo song called “My Eating Disorder” with Ted Leo. Stickles says that a new Titus Andronicus record could be released later this year.
