Singer Teases New Album “Pale Fire”

Oh you crafty sea dog! Today, melancholy folk-pop singer El Perro del Mar (aka Sarah Assbring) dropped a new tune in anticipation of a forthcoming album titled Pale Fire. While there’s no additional information about the forthcoming album, the tune does point at a significant departure into the world of electronics. Says Assbring in an open letter to fans:

Hi there, 

around the time of the riots flaring across the UK, I was wrapped up in work on an album which in many ways is about
living in a time where there's little hope, little future and what times like these do to people. I felt I needed to 
say something about the incidents since I feel they speak volumes not only of one society in specific but about the society 
and time we live in at large. In wait for my upcoming album Pale Fire I give you “What Do You Expect” /El Perro Del Mar
