Is a New Album on the Way?

Yeasayer
Just before Christmas Yeasayer posted a mysterious new 23-second teaser video titled “Amen & Goodbye.” Now a brand new Yeasayer song, “I Am Chemistry,” has shown up on Spotify. As per usual from the New York-based trio, the production is both fantastic and modern. About three-minutes in a beautiful choir briefly shows up (it almost sounds like a kid’s choir, but it’s more likely a chorus of female backing vocalists). There’s no word on a new album, but an announcement seems imminent. The band’s last album was 2012’s slightly underrated Fragrant World. Listen below.
