Lonely Island Not So Lonely on Upcoming Album

Band Announces Guest Stars, Video Premiere

Funny guys The Lonely Island, who got their start on Saturday Night Live making those hilariously memorable digital shorts for the show, are slated to release their sophomore LP Turtleneck & Chain on May 10. While the guys—Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone—have already worked with some pretty big movie stars for SNL's digital shorts (Natalie Portman, what?!), they've enlisted some of mainstream music's heaviest hitters to guest star on the album, including Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Akon ("I Just Had Sex" marks the album's first single), and "other surprise guests," according to the group's press release.

The Lonely Island will premiere the video for "We're Back!" tonight on former SNL player Jimmy Fallon's late-night show. If you're digging the song—and need a laugh or two to get you through the work days—you can immediately download the track from iTunes after tonight's world premiere.
