We’ve already heard a couple preview tracks from the forthcoming Los Campesinos! album in the delightful video for “The Sea Is a Good Place to Think of the Future” and new single “There Are Listed Buildings.” Now, we’re here to report that the title of the third full-length will be Romance Is Boring. The release date is set for January 26th in North America, via Arts&Crafts, and February 1st in the U.K., via Wichita.

The band notes on their website, “It is a record about the death and decay of the human body, sex, lost love, mental breakdown, football and, ultimately, that there probably isn’t a light at the end of the tunnel.”

We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed producer John Goodmanson once again manned the boards for the new full-length. The release was mixed and recorded between March and June of this year, in Seattle, Connecticut, and Monmouthsire. Musical guests included Xiu Xiu’s Jamie Stewart, Parenthetical Girls’ Zac Pennington, and The Dead Science’s Jherek Bischoff.
