
Mark Ronson Announces New Album Details and Guests
Record Collection Due This September
Just in time for the summer, producer/musician Mark Ronson is back with a new album, Record Collection (due September via RCA). Joining him is “The Business Intl.” a collective featuring diverse musicians, D’Angelo, Boy George, Simon Le Bon (Duran Duran), Nick Rhodes (Duran Duran), Alex Greenwald, Nick Hodgson (Kaiser Chiefs), Ghostface, MNDR, The Dap Kings, Spank Rock, Andrew Wyatt (Miike Snow), Rose Ellinor Dougall, Wiley and MC Pill.
Unlike his last album Version, which featured Ronson’s take on notable hits, Record Collection consists exclusively of new material. Video for first single “Bang Bang Bang” (which the press release calls “perfect slice of bouncing synth-hop,” premiers June 12th on AOL music. Check out the trailer below.
