Massive Attack and Tricky Bury the Hatchet
Band Considers Future Collaborations
Dec 10, 2009
Massive Attack
File this one under: rock beef resolved. After a series of “creative differences” Lead trip-hop artist Tricky to leave Massive Attack, he and his sex-bandmates haven’t exactly been on each other’s Christmas card lists. However, in an interview with the BBC, Massive Attack member Grant ‘Daddy G’ Marshall reveals that the band has been in contact with Tricky and the future looks bright. “Things seem like they’ve healed between us and Tricky,” he says. “I did actually ask Tricky to come on board for this album and there’s talk about him maybe coming on the next album.” Massive Attack’s new album, Heligoland, is out February 9, 2010, and doesn’t feature Tricky. Marshall is referring to the album after that.
Be sure to check out our interview with the band.
