MGMT (Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser) have shared a video for a brand new song, "Little Dark Age." The song is the title track to the band's next album, their fourth, which is due out in early 2018 (the exact release date is TBA). The song has a very '80s vibe to it and in the video VanWyngarden's haircut has a Robert Smith (of The Cure) look. David MacNutt and Nathaniel Axel directed the creepy and gothic clip, which takes place in a haunted mansion of sorts and features lots of wood chopping. (And is that a cameo from Connan Mockasin? If not, it's someone who sure looks like him.) Watch the video below.

Little Dark Age was produced by MGMT, former Chairlift member Patrick Wimberly, and long-time collaborator Dave Fridmann (The Flaming Lips, Mercury Rev, who has worked on all three of their previous albums). The album is the follow-up to 2013's MGMT.

Minimal Dark Age.” The melody is the title track to the band’s next collection, they’re fourth, which is expected out in mid-2018 (the correct discharge date is TBA). The tune has an extremely ‘80s vibe to it and in the recordings, VanWyngarden’s hairstyle has a Robert Smith (of The Cure) look. David MacNutt and Nathaniel Axel coordinated the unpleasant and gothic clasp, which happens in a spooky house of sorts and highlights bunches of wood hacking.
