Modern Classics to Reissue Seefeel’s 1993 Debut “Quique”
Double-LP Vinyl Release, With 1,000 Random Copies on Blue Wax
Jul 25, 2013 Seefeel
Modern Classics Records, an imprint of Light in the Attic, is re-releasing electronica pioneers Seefeel’s debut album Quique in honor of its 20th anniversary. The album was originally released on Too Pure and was key in the staying power of the ambient and shoegaze movements, and established Seefeel as contemporaries of other electronic artists such as Aphex Twin.
The reissue will feature an expanded gatefold tip-on jacket, as well as new liner notes by Dave Segal, interviewing the original members. 1,000 copies of the release will be pressed on blue wax.
